After a short whirlwind romance, they get married, and Maya tries to settle into her new life with her new husband. This is when her horrors begin.
Set within the backdrop of serial killings in Mumbai, the novel has themes of cannibalism and Indian Aghori ritualism. The book has been highly praised for Neil D’Silva’s unique writing style and the meticulous research into the core themes of the story. The character of Bhaskar Sadachari has been described as one of the most effective villains in contemporary Indian literature.
